Our Club

The Illawarra District Table Tennis Association was formed in 1947.

Seventy years later the Association is located  at the Beaton Park Leisure Centre, Foley’s St Gwynneville.

It is close to public transport, University accommodation and easy access from the freeway.

Table Tennis has been recognised as the best brain sport in the world, so come along and exercise the brain as well as the body.

Leo wins again

Our budding champion, Leo, has done exceptionally well at the NSW closed Junior championships Leo won gold in the under 11 boys singles and silver in the under 10 mixed singles.  Congratulations Leo

Juniors

Come learn to play table tennis with experienced coaches

Join our growing ensemble of Junior players

Alanl and Graeme run a 5 week program where we teach the 4 basic shots forehand and backhand topspin (attack), and forehand and backhand backspin (defence).
We then teach the class how to serve using these shots.
Each week has a demonstration of the shot, practice for the class, games of singles or doubles and a round Robin game practicing the shot.
