Our Club

The Illawarra District Table Tennis Association was formed in 1947.

Seventy years later the Association is located  at the Beaton Park Leisure Centre, Foley’s St Gwynneville.

It is close to public transport, University accommodation and easy access from the freeway.

Table Tennis has been recognised as the best brain sport in the world, so come along and exercise the brain as well as the body.

Come learn to play table tennis with experienced coaches

Join our growing ensemble of Junior players

Graeme and his coaching team run a coaching program where they teach the 4 basic shots forehand and backhand topspin (attack), and forehand and backhand backspin (defence).
They then teach the class how to serve using these shots.
Each week has a demonstration of the shot, practice for the class, games of singles or doubles and a round Robin game practicing the shot.

Coaching sessions will run from 6.30pm till 7.30pm each Thursday night at Beaton Park Leisure centre, commencing on the 18th February 2021

As well a junior competition is being planned to be held at the Berkeley Indoor Sports Stadium commencing in April 2021

Juniors can apply for the Active Kids vouchers twice a year to cover registrations and coaching costs through Table Tennis NSW
